Monmouthshire County Council is preparing a Monmouthshire Replacement Local Development Plan for the period 2018-2033. The RLDP will allocate land for sustainable development, designate land for protection and contain policies to provide the basis for decisions on planning applications. To understand what this means for Abergavenny, take a look here.
If you'd like to understand what this means for you and you'd like to have your say, a public consultation is open from Monday 4th November and will close on Friday 16th December. A council drop in meeting is taking place on 14th November 2pm to 7pm in the Market Hall, Abergavenny which the Taylor & Co team will pop along to and we'll report back with what we've learned afterwards.
